The location is on the edge of a small rural village at only 10 minutes by car from the city of Ourense, with all necessary facilities, services and shops.The city of Ourense has nearly 110.000 habitants and is located on the banks of the river Miño. The city is famous for his hot springs (As Burgas) and his many bridges (8), the oldest one of Roman origin (Puente Romano). One of the newest and showy bridges (Puente Milenio) was designed by the architect Alvaro Varela. In the charming centre of the city you can find the second oldest cathedral in Galicia (founded in 572), built in Romanesque style (13th century).The medieval quarter has narrow streets and old squares and offers typical restaurants, bars, pubs and a lively nightlife. The city of Ourense offers further on important institutions as the university, a hospital, a wide variety of local shops, large supermarkets and hypermarkets, cinemas, shopping centers, etc. This all at only 10 minutes driving from the property.Airports: - Santiago de Compostela: 1 hour and 25 minutes by car. - Vigo: 1 hour and 15 minutes by car.Low budget flights from the UK are possible with Ryanair to the airport of Santiago de Compostela.

The house is full stone built and semi renovated with a new roof and a brick extension on the top of the house.
