Location / Vicinity

The location is in a small hamlet at 16 Km. from the city of Ourense. The area is quiet and rural at 3 Km. from the Miño River. This is the Western part of the Ribeira Sacra region, an area with a mild microclimate and many vineyards. The wines in this area are of good quality made from Mencia (red) and Godello (white) grapes. The property is located at only 3 Km. from the village of Coles, with necessary amenities and services.

At 20 minutes by car you can find the city of Ourense, with all necessary amenities and many interesting monuments in the old quarter. Worth to visit are for example the magnificent Cathedral of San Martin (Romanesque, 12th century), the Gothic church of Santisima Trinidad (13th century) and the Roman bridge. Ourense is also famous for its natural hot water springs.
